The FLAG Politics

Three colours of flag actually represents what we all have studied in school days. Our teachers have explained all sentiments associated with our flag. But the reality is little different when it comes to indian political world.

The orange colour which stands for bravery, boldness and courage is well adopted BJP and other majority extremist. It seems that they have nothings to do with other two colours. For them the orange only represents Hinduism and they are the only inheriters of that culture. Often on some special occasions and to disturb normalcy of india they go for political journeys, popularly known as YATRA. They conduct such events only to test their political popularity among the busy and developing common man. But the packaging and managing of such events are made in such a way that they create some havoc. During their recent Yatra in which they aimed to hoist the flag on lal chouk in Kashmir. Kashmir is the same place which was burning in summer of 2010 in the fire of sepratism and hatred. Fire lost its heat a little bit but it is still there and needs some fuel of hatred to melt the valley again. This yatra seems to do act as a fuel knowingly may be unknowingly. But the ultimate consequence would have been definitely dangerous. They failed to do so. The biggest question is that why only lal chouk chosen to hoist the flag why not Dantewada where naxalist killed 76 CRPF men. They must have also tried to hoist the flag in Manipur where things are as worst as in Kashmir. There are so many places in India where this flag hoisting event was more in need. The bottom line is that BJP wanted some media attention and some more issues so that they can interuppt the upcoming budgetary session of parliament in February. On the contrary they have some opprtunities to do this political drama but they have failed. They failed to act as a good opponent to check the policies of ruling government. Kicking up commodity prices, corruption, black money in swiz banks and other problems such as unemployment, poverty is still there. They must have gone for a YATRA in slums areas across India but that might not have made the NEWS in that manner.

The second colour of our flag is waiting to be adopted by some political party which represents peace and harmony. Unfortunately in political world the world peace have no meaning at all and our political leaders don’t know how to use this.

Lets talk about the last colour of our flag which is green. Green is the colour of prosperity and wellbeing. But the meaning of have changed over the time in the politics. During Indo- Pak partition green colour emerged as the symbol of being Muslim. But in the holy book Quran which teach a muslim, How to live, have no mention of Green as a colour of Islam. It is difficult say who started this trend but it gained the popularity during partition. After partition Congress emerged as advocator largest minority and majority of india. But the fact is congress and other secular parties hardly advocates about the well being of majorty the HINDUS and largest minority the MUSLIMS and other religious communities. Every community acts as vote bank only. The grand old political party which completed its 125 years in playing political games. These days Congress is flying high after suppressing the Yatra of BJP. Congress ruled most of the times in India but one can easily say that it failed remove the basic problems of country. In recent time also its politics and policies are not clear,it is ruling as it was doing a formality. The sense of responsibility and accountability is totally absent. Commodity prices are zooming up, corruption have totally engulfed the whole political machinery. Congress and others who calls themself as secular are actually anti BJP. There is a lot more to do being a ruling party then just showing good figures to public which hides the ground zero reality. It failed to tackle the Kashmir issue since 1947, again poverty and unemployment are healthily alive. Corruption cases as seen in 2010 and external and interal threats to the security is a cause of worry.

Flag politics is just one more episode to fool the busy and developing Indian common man.
